Not sure what to say?

Dr. Thompson, will be missed. I was her work study student in the 80'S. I ate many dinners with her and her husband many evenings. She had and special name for her husband.
Comfort to her family.

Dr. Guillory Thompson was my favorite professor at Dillard.I became her assistant and proctor and loved listening to all the knowledge she imparted to her classes. I met her parents before their passing and they were so proud of her and her brothers. when Dr. Thompson attended a conference in Chicago she stayed at my parents home and we all thoroughly enjoyed her The last time we spoke was when I called to check on her after Katrina. She was a delight, a gifted academic, and will be sorely...

Rest in peace. You have left a beautiful legacy.

Dr. Barbara Guillory Thompson is an inspiration to all of the Dillard family, whether as a student, employee, or as an alum. She has touched us all through her patience, her pedagogy, and her pride. In honor of all that she stood for, I recommit myself to the mission of growing and developing the youth of today in preparation for a successful future. In doing so, I know that her legacy lives on in me and all whom I can positively influence.

Thank you, from Dillard University and the...

It was my privilege to have her as a professor. Our classes were always enciteful and shaped many generations of graduates self awareness. May the Lord Bless Her Soul.

She will be greatly missed in our family. we will keep you all in our prayers.

As an alumna of Dillard University, I learned a lot from Dr. Guillory Thompson, especially in her Marriage and the Family Course. When I remember her, brilliant, sharp witt, humor, class, and style are words that come to mind. She impacted her students in a mighty way. Rest in peace, my Soror.

A beautiful and brilliant person has gone to glory. She was one of the greatest! DU 1990

Thank you for being a friend the entire time I was a librarian at Dillard University. You were always a fighter for the rights of others.
