Not sure what to say?

To the family. I want to say that i know your mom is gone in presence from you, but you all have so many memories of her sweet smile, her laughter, her pretty face, her cooking and all that stuff. Please keep her in your heart, she may be out of sight, but she is not out of mind. I have been where you are and i can tell you its not easy, but each day helps. Keep something in mind that makes you smile when you feel sad. I know Barbara is resting peacefully now with her husband. God bless...

To Poochie and the rest of the family: May God bless you in your time of need. Our deepest sympathy, Willie (DeeDum), Elosie, Joyce.

To Velma and Family:

This is just a reminder that "to be absent from the body means to be present with the Lord".

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
