I have lovely memories of Barbara, who was a special woman. We became friends nearly 20 years ago in New York City, where her dear Allan often worked with my late husband, Ellis. The four of us shared many wonderful moments there--as well as in Washington, DC and my hometown of Philadelphia. Barbara accomplished much in her lifetime, but was always closely involved with her terrific family. She leaves a wonderful legacy. My heartfelt condolences to all who loved her. Margot Horwitz
