Barbara Triplett Obituary
She was born January 20, 1929 in Rockport, IN, to the late Howard and Thelma (Wall) Thixton and was the widow of William "Bill" Triplett to whom she was married to for 58 years and died in 2007. Barbara was a homemaker and wonderful wife and mom. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, American Legion Post #28 and VFW Post #1693 Ladies Auxillarys'.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter, Kimberly; and son, Kevin; as well as her parents.
Survivors include: sons, Stephen Triplett and wife, Maria and Keith Triplett and wife, Diana; daughter, Kathy Futral and husband, Deldon; 8 grandchildren, Keeley Goodale (Shawn), Kyle Kark, Lee, Adam, Amber and John Triplett, Brian Triplett (Kristen), and Amy Cooper (Lance); and four great-grandchildren, Katelyn Goodale, Liam and Kara Triplett and Stella Cooper.
Reception of family and friends will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. Her Funeral Liturgy will be 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Expressions to: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or Kosair Shrine Childrens Hospital.
