Barbara Sue Tucker , age 81 of Loretto, TN passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at home after a extended illness.  She was a native of Grandview,TN, worked for Salant & Salant and M-Fine and she was a member of the Church of God faith.  A private family graveside will be held at a later date.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother, Barbara. She and my mother were first cousins. I'm sure we saw each other at family reunions and such but there are so many in Uncle Lowell's family it's hard to keep up with who belongs to who. Anyway, I know you will miss her greatly. I pray that God will comfort you by His Holy Spirit and bring you peace through the coming days.

Growing up in the Lowell and Lois McGee family was a lot of fun; we laughed a lot. Barbara was the sister closest in age to me. The family ran a grocery store with a full size basement under it and did we have fun in the basement. It was perfect for playing house or church because Daddy worked on pianos and there was always some in the basement from which he got parts. We would set planks across concrete blocks for seats.
