Not sure what to say?

We remember Bobbie daily through her art. We recently sold a home in Vermont and the one thing they wanted as part of the sale was a painting of Bobbie's that I had in my room as a child (60- years). I did not sell it!. I would love to be in touch with family, please contact me at [email protected]. Best, Tad

Sorry this is sideways

We didn't know Bobbie well, as we haven't lived here long. We are neighbors. We bought one of her lovely, colorful wall hangings and just had it installed this morning. It is visible through the window in front of our house, and it looks fabulous! Her wonderful art lives on!

Vicky and I were so sad to hear of Bobbi's death. My connection with Bobbi goes back three generations to Morris Ave where Bobbi played with my mother and ate my grandmother homemake cakes. Bobbi was a frequent guest at the family cottage in Muskegon and I like to think that my grandparents contributed at least a bit to her love of driftwood, gathered at Pentwater or in her visits with us, and I am sure many others. More recently our trips to Grand Rapids with my parents were never complete...

We are so very sorry about Bobbi's passing. We cherished her friendship and humor as her next door neighbor for the last dozen years. A favorite memory was the lovely reception at the GRAM that we attended showcasing her artistic talent. The neighborhood picnic won't be the same without her.

This is truly a momentous passing of a great spirit. It has been so many years since I have seen Bobbie's face...but I do remember that what I always loved about her is that she was ENTHUSED and INFUSED with a love of all creativity. As a young person, not necessarily important in her life, if I shared something with her that was inspiring to me, she paid attention, showed me that my ideas and attractions were significant and important. Plus, she made the world--no, brought forth so we...

Our heartfelt condolences to the Uhl family. We've only know Bobbi seven years, since becoming neighbors, but she was especially precious to us. Her enthusiasm for life and her view of beauty everywhere gave us great joy. We will miss her daily.

My best memories are of playing "horses" with Liz in the Uhl's "courtyard" (backyard). Then, Bobbi, with her crazy, fun, upbeat, quirky personality would make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on Pepperidge Farm thinly sliced white bread for us. Liz was my best friend since five years old and we spent so many hours running between our two houses together. I remember playing in Liz's bedroom while Bobbi was in her studio across the hall creating her talented art. Bobbi and Ted were stuck with...

Peter, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I talked to Paul Rossi yesterday and we were both saddened by the news. I will always remember your mom in a special way from our High School years- she was warm and welcoming and your home was always filled with her artistic talents and beauty! My love to you and your family.

What an amazing woman! I met her when we did a exhibition of her work at the Grand Rapids Art Museum. She was a delight and we were all inspired by her wonderful energy and creative spirit.
