Not sure what to say?

I brought a gavel to the courtroom the day that Barbara was sworn in as a judge. Many years of friendship. May she rest in peace!

Dear Charlie and Ron: I just heard of the passing of Chickie. I am so sorry and brought back many good times to mind. The "Blue Front" on bright sunny days. Bobby and Ron and the laughs we used to enjoy. My thoughts will be about the Judge and what a loss, too soon. Sincerely, Senator Jim and Joyce Holzapfel

So sad to hear of the passing of Barbara (Chickie) Villano. Classmate at Mount Saint Dominic Academy. Always fun & lots of laughter that’s how I will always remember her Rest in peace . A life well lived !

On the tennis court, at the dinner table, over a snack or at the front door, Barb ...could share joy, console, stimulate...make things better around you. She could listen so well. And her advice, when given, seemed to me so gentle and compassionate, that I can really understand what "the Judge" meant to the kids who entered her courtrooms. We had only a few years with her here in Bonita , but they come with lovely memories and moments that make me smile all over again. Her environment was...

I have so many memories of our 4 years at MSD., esp. senior year when I drove Chickie and Alice to school every day. Chickie would always keep us laughing but I´d often get in trouble for smoking although I never smoked in my life because Chickie would smoke all the way to the Mount. I never ratted her out to the nuns. Chickie, you will be missed! You still owe me gas money!

Chickie was my college classmate. We kept in touch now and then since then. She was a magnetic person with a big smile and a great sense of humor. She had a fantastic career. What a loss.

Barbara was a bright and charming lady and a law school friend. Good memories.

Rest in peace, Barbara. Barb played on our tennis team in Fort Myers before moving to Bonita Springs. She was a fierce competitor, and always taking lessons to improve. She was a good friend, and I was lucky enough to have enjoyed her Eggplant Parmesan. She was a great cook and made it look easy. Barbara will surely be missed.

Chickie was my college classmate and our longtime friend. We shared many happy times at the shore (The Annual Chill), in San Diego, Washington, DC and Florida. Chickie was smart, generous, frank and humorous as well as a great cook. Her spirit will remain with us and we will toast her at our upcoming gatherings. Chickie was one of a kind - a great attorney / judge, mentor, volunteer and faithful friend. We share in her family's grief and offer our sympathy.
