Not sure what to say?

How I miss my dear friend and dreamer. Grateful for you in my life forever.

Barbara was a very dear, kind, accomplished neighbor, whose gardens were always perfect! Super nice sons, their bunnies, as children. AND YES a fabulous artist, educator. MUCH missed! Rest Peace ...

Please accept our deepest condolennces on the passing of dear Barbara. She has been a great friend to us and the arts. Her vitalic spirit, kindness, and keen interest in the arts (and all things, really) will always be remembered. Barbara was the one who first brought me to Syracuse to teach workshops and over the years I would stay with her in her lovely, art-filled house while I was teaching several-day workshops. She was so gracious in that way and I always enjoyed her company so much! We...

Barb was such a grounded, inspirational friend. I will miss her. My thoughts are with the family she cared so much about and all her friends.

My deepest sympathies to Barbara´s loving family. Barbara will always remain in my memory as a kind, giving, creative and inspiring woman ... I first met her when we trained as Everson Docents, and had the pleasure of pastel painting with her for many years, especially during the Robert Carsten workshops. She will be truly missed, and her memory will live on in the art she created, and in the hearts of all those who experienced the joy of knowing her.

I could not have asked for a better mentoring teacher during my student teaching experience at Westhill High School than Barb! She modeled a philosophy that impacted my next thirty years as an art educator: Meet each student where they are. Embrace all with respect & compassion. Guide them through the process of art creation with intent to help them understand themselves and honor their valued...
