I was shocked and saddened to learn of Beejo's passing. It was my privilege to coach her when she was a youngster on the Ascension Swim Club during the early 70's. I will always remember her smile and cooperative disposition. She would brighten
up the cloudiest day, and cause others to smile right along with her.
