Barbara Walker

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

What a loss. Barbara left a great legacy: a loving family, impressive scientific accomplishments and a warmth she shared with people that knew her. She will be missed always.

I met Barbara through bird watching and was fortunate enough to spend a week birding with her out west. She loved nature and learning.
She was a true friend and wonderful person. May God take good care of you until she sees you again.

I worked with Barbara at Biotech IV and feel blessed to have known her. I so enjoyed her company and also admired her bravery - I will miss her. May God welcome her into his loving arms.

I had the pleasure to work with Barbara at UMass Medical School. On gloomy days, she would stop by my office and light up the room with her pearly whites, and her wide smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the Walker family. I will miss you Barbara, May you Rest in Peace.
