Read MoreI was a friend of Barby's in Oklahoma City, then we were freshman at Sweet Briar together. I was about to try to get in touch to share some Sweet Briar memories when I found her obituary. I knew both her parents, and all were beautiful interesting people. We were blessed by knowing them.

So sorry to know of Barbara's passing. She was a great lady and a good friend. I lived for a few months with the Waughs in Norman after an exchange student program in Wisconsin. The time spent with them was very special. She will be missed. I sent her a message this morning... To her kids and family a big hug.

Barby was our neighbor when we were growing up in Crown Heights. Lived next door to she and Bob in Norman. She was very gracious to us when we visited Cuernavaca many years ago. I always admired Barby and her family.
