Not sure what to say?

Happy Mother's Day mom. First one without you and miss you so much. Hope you and Marge are together having a ball. Love you.

Christmas is not the same without you mom. Miss you sooooo much. Love you.

I feel like I lost my second mother. She was in my life since I was a baby in church, taught me violin, viola & bells. Her rendition of "O' Holy Night" that she sang every Christmas Eve in church, will never be the same. We all cried and I will always cry anytime I hear it. She gave so much to the church and the community, it will never be the same. Go in peace, "Mom!" I love you.

Mr. Weiss and Family ...
I too am sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. As has been said by others, she touched us and our community in many ways, but always positive. I first remember Barbara from Chamber of Commerce, Visitors Bureau and meetings of MANY other organizations. One of the first questions before the meeting was, what/whose tickets will Barbara be selling today? They were always for a good cause in our Ypsilanti community ... needless to say all of us purchased at least...

Barb, you were a true friends of the arts in the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti area. Many thanks for your commitment to such a great cause.

Mr. Weiss and family, I started playing the violin in 5th grade at Chappelle school. Mrs weiss was my teacher all the way to my senior year. I went to an Eastern game because I heard that Mr. and Mrs.Weiss had season tickets. When I went up to them, they didn't know me when I told her who I was she smiled and of course she asked was I still playing my violin? I said no because it makes the cat howl! But it looks great in the china cabnet Anyway my deepest sympathys go to you Kris and...

I'm sorry for your loss. May God give you and your family peace in your time of sorrow.

Ms Porter

We extend our sympathy to you, Jack, and your family in your loss. Phil and Donnie Stokes

I am proud and honored to call Barb (and Jack) Weiss my friends. I was on the Ypsilanti high school staff with Barb just before her retirement and continued a long and fun friendship with them at EMU activities and events. We were also neighbors on Textile Road for a short time till they moved to the high rent district. Barb was a true community treasure and a blessing to all who knew her.
