Dear Dan, Josh, Sam and Tom,
I was saddened to hear that your wife and mother had died. While it seems impossible to believe now, the pain of this terrible loss will lessen in time and you will rejoice in memories of her goodness, kindness and, above all, love for you.

I was saddened to hear of Barbara's death. Dan and their sons have sustained a great loss. The world has lost an excellent doctor and a kind soul.

Many of us have cherished memories of Barbara....of her intelligence, her sense of humor, and her strong moral compass for those in need. And, we who were parents together in the early years will always remember how much Barbara loved her family and how proud she was of her boys.
