Barbara B. Winder

My wife , Rev. Dee and I send our heartfelt condolences to the family of Deaconess Barbara Winder . We first met her while I was a student at Norfolk State and she befriended Dee and I as a young married couple . We would later be neighbors while she lived in Eva Gardens and we lived in Crestwood Manor , now a daycare center.She was always a quiet and lovely person . Rest in peace Sister Barbara.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love you and miss you always. Barbara was my mentor when I started teaching. She mentored more by what she did rather than what she said. She was a kind, sweet and loving spirit. Love you forever. RIP my friend
