Dear Barbara - always remembered my lifelong friend

Barbara Windom is a great loss to the Peruvian community. She had insight and means by which to promote this incredible breed. For me, I will forever remember my times with her riding and sharing meals. My beloved LEA Apolo is buried in the Bosque with her blessing. He brought me great joy. I think of her SO very often and know she is still thriving. She will never be forgotten because her presence left a huge mark on my heart.

Barbara was a very special Friend in the late eighties early nineties in Santa Fe . She lived in Tesuque at the time and had just discovered Santa Fe and going some life changes , She knew this and made a big effort to make me feel warm and part of her world . I will always remember her and Victor and her lovely fun daughters and her incredible casual but elegant home . The Pasos were great fun and gave her such pleasure! Thank You Dear One !!!! Love , Michael Mattson

Dear Barbara - still think of you, and miss you and have so many happy memories -Los Angeles, London, San Francisco I'll never forget you ,old friend

In memory of an elegant lady who was most gracious to me and shared the beauty of the Peruvian Paso horse with the world. Peace & Love,

The first horse you sold was our beloved Bailadora. Our barn still has 2 La Villeta horses, in our home we see reminders of you, and in our memories live adventures together near and far, but nothing compares to how we hold you in our hearts. Bob Gumnit and Frankie Graham

Dear Barbara,
I had the privilege of riding at your beautiful Ranch while taking lessons from Ginger. Thank you for your kindness and opening your heart to humans and animals alike!
