I regret learning only recently of Barbara's passing. She and I met in the late 70's when we returned from overseas to live in New Canaan and she found out I knew how to hit a tennis ball. She introduced me to a wonderful tennis group. That relationship matured into a friendship, one I treasure even though my family and I headed back overseas after four short years in New Canaan.
