Miss Barbara, you were always my bright spot as I attended kindergarten in the class you worked in. Your smile and warm hugs, hearing you call me "Horton Hears a Who", and your gracious words of encouragement will never be forgotten. I had the joy of knowing you as a classroom aide, the mom of a friend, the mom of a colleague and then the bright smile that greeted me at Bethel when I would visit my grandparents. You have left this world such a better place because of your heart of gold. Thank you for all of the memories.
Prayers to the family during this time and thank you for sharing your mom with so many.

When I had to put my mother into Bethel Retirement your mother was so kind to my mother and myself. Barbara guided me as to all the business end of dealing with placing my mother. I also worked with Janet and got to know your mother through my friendship with Janet. It´s hard to lose a parent. My prayers are with your family. Brenna Rajewich

Dear Family of Barbara Wood, I am a long time friend of Barbara's. I did not realize she was ill. I am sorry that we didn't keep better touch. I knew her entire family, including her mother and the Pennington families. Barabara and I had a lot of good times together and worked for years together. My sincere condolences go to her entire family. May her soul rest in peace. Love, Kathie Callantine
