Barbara and I were colleagues at Whittemore House for many years. She was always so committed to each class that came to her each year. My favorite memory will always be when she would bring her mother's Mardi Gras crown and scepter for all to admire, and we would all feast on King's cake. She was a wonderful teacher and friend.
