Saddened to hear of the passing of such a fine man as BJG. A longtime friend of my late mother, Lois Myers, Barney was a man of faith, family, and fortitude. His contributions to our great state are unmatched and his spirit will help brighten the northern lights. Peace and prayers for the family.

The Sherman Wheaton, and William Piers Famlies send their deepest sympathies to you and yours.
As very long time Alaskans we were glad to know and respect Mr. Gottstein.
Our prayers and love are with you.

IN 1981, J.B.GOTTSTEIN CO. REALLY HELPED US
THEY HAD A QUALIFIED STAFF THAT KNEW RUAL ALASKA. BARNEY EVEN CAME TO BARROW AND VISITED OUR STORE. EVERY CHRISTMAS WE WOULD RECEIVE A LIQUOR BASKET FOR A GIFT, THIS WENT ON FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS UNTIL THE PC CROWD NIXED IT. THEN WE RECEIVED A BLUE JACKET WHICH I STILL HAVE. SORRY TO SEE BARNEY GO.
SINCEREST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.
