Barney Lee Mings, age 69 of Smyrna died Wednesday October 1, 2025. He was a native of Arkansas and was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Laverne Mings; parents, Bob and Pat Mings.
Mr. Mings was retired, Dry Wall Hanger and had worked other construction jobs. He also loved hunting and fishing and Black Fork Mt in Oklahoma.
He is survived by his children, Christopher Lee Mings, Keith Ellis, Kevin Ellis and wife Michele; grandchildren; Abbey and Austin Ellis, John and Amberly Corter, Eric and Laura Neal. Five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Graveside service will be Monday October 6th 11:00AM at Harvey Cemetery in Rogersville, AL . Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna is in charge of arrangements www.woodfinchapel.com
