Dear Eleanor, I was saddened to learn of Barney's passing. We had some good times working together in the Oceana Co. Historical Society and I was always uplifted in your company. God bless you. Esther

My sincere Christian Sympathy is extended to all Barney Steen's family on the occasion of his death. What wonderful memories I have of him as a professor and coach at Calvin. Barney Steen also taught PE to my husband (Richard Sonderfan) in NJ/ECHS. Barney was a wonderful gift in my life. Louise

Dear Eleanor, Pat Taggart notified us of Barneys death, we are so sorry. We always enjoyed his good natured manner around the golf course. This summer we sold our house and are now living permanently in Orlando. We regret now being there to attend his funeral.
