Barrie Marks

Graduated General Brock 1993. Still think of Mr Marks from time to time. Sad to hear of his passing. May you rest in peace sir.

Hi Grandpa Marks, I know it’s been more than a couple of years but I just want to drop by and say thank you for picking me up that one time from the now-defunct St.Jules.

When I think of Begley I think of Mr.Marks. I was just talking about him a day or two ago. He was my grade 8 teacher and he was great. He always had a smile on his face and when he and Mr. Taylor got together we always had a fun day. He will be missed. Teachers of today should take a lesson out of his book.

My sister Natalie and I were both students at Roseville Public School back in the 80's. He was a fantastic teacher and we were both fortunate to have known him and to have been taught by him. Our condolences to your family.

Dear Christine, Michelle, and Kim;
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I have many memories of your father at the many family get-togethers. He was always asked to speak because of his abilities. Rest in peace Uncle Barrie.

Uncle Barry, wish I could've said good bye, remember all the times we would visit, me and Joe would always want to be around you, you always made us feel special that you were our uncle. You were the one who always gave a speech at a wedding or a eulogy, that's one memory I will always have of you, your speaches would always touch me, and if I were home I would've liked to say a few things about you and only hope that my words would somehow compare to the man you were, but in the end my dear...

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Mr Marks was a rock for many students. I am honored to have known him and to be a formal student. Class of 89 from General Brock.

Another soldier gone too soon, Mr Marks was my teacher at Brock & at Roseville. He was an exceptional teacher he assisted me with my class work when I need an extra boost, I always remember him saying if I stopped talking so much I would get more work done. My sincerest condolences to his family.
