Barry Lee Accornero

Joanne and family,
I'm here on the East Coast in the middle of the pandemic. I found old letters I'd kept and there were 3 from Barry. We got to be friends the summer I worked as the Assistant Mgr of Northwest Swim Club in Bethlehem. He had a yellow VW beetle he drove and we'd sit and talk for hours. I was a swimmer but not his caliber and he would downplay his abilities. We stayed in touch when he was at U of MD but after graduation we lost touch. The picture of him is wonderful. I'm so...

Barry was a high school classmate in Bethlehem. Many would remember him for his swimming prowess in those days, but he was also the kind of person who was a friend to anybody who crossed his path. I always looked forward to catching up with him at our high school reunions, and sadly as we will gather in 2018 for our 50th Liberty High School reunion, he will have to be with us in spirit. My deepest sympathy to Joanne and his family.

Barry was a great friend and mentor. I consider myself very lucky to have crossed paths with him. He will be truly missed

Barry was a great man and a proud supporter of Norwich University. He will be missed by the alums of Southern California.
