Sorry for your loss I will miss barry

I was saddened to hear of Mr. Ahearn's sudden death. I was a student of his at HHS in the mid 70's. He was a great teacher and I remember him still as he looked during that time. He definitely left an impression on me with his humor and wit. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. RIP.

He will be missed. My prayers are with you.

Condolences to the whole Ahearn family, so sad to hear of his passing. He was one of the most memorable teachers I ever had, and I will not forget him. Not only has his family but future students will not get to know great of a teacher he was and how great of a person that teacher was. He will be missed!

Mrs. A, Rory, and Erin,
Sending my deepest condolences to the entire Ahearn family. I will always hold in my heart the special memories I had with Mr A. He really knew how to make you laugh, smile, and be a better person. Thinking of you in this time of grief, Chris "Scooter" Stifel

I am very sorry for your loss. I went to grammar school with Barry as well as saw him many times throughout high school. He had a wonderful sense of humor. I left New Rochelle many years ago but have often wondered what happened to Barry. Sounds like he was a man of many talents. God bless you all. Beth

To the Ahearn Family,
My deepest condolences to you all. I am so sadden by the lost of a wonderful man, teacher and role model. Having the pleasure of having him as a teacher in Holy Family(class of 1972) he was our rock and held us all together in our time of lost. I had the opportunity of visiting him a few years ago at Harrison High with my children, I had spoke very highly about him and wanted to give them the pleasure of meeting him. He was the same wonderful person as I had...

Marilyn, Erin,
