Not sure what to say?

I have not seen Barry since elementary school. I was just thinking of him out of the blue and decided to try to find him on the Internet. Instead of getting contact information, I found an obituary notice. Although I have not seen Barry since sixth grade, the fact that I remember him now that I am over 50 shows that he made a real impression on me. (Plus we were only the two Jewish kids in most of our entire elementary school classes and always had to stand up and talk about Chanukah each...

Barry was one of the finest people I know. To say that he was gracious, creative, entertaining, and a man of increbible style and integrity is only the beginning. Just hearing Barry's voice (always upbeat) was a great point of any day. I am a retail friend from Bloomingdales and we shared side by side offices.
We met in 1990 and remained close friends. I will treasure every memory. Barry will be so missed.

I MET BARRY FRESHMAN YEAR AT FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON. MY FONDEST MEMORIES WERE OF US SHOPPING AT BLOOMINGDALES AND JUST HANGING OUT. WE HAD NOT SEEN EACH OTHER AFTER COLLEGE FOR 25 YEARS AND RECONNECTED 3 YEARS AGO. IT WAS LIKE WE WERE NEVER APART. I WILL MISS HIM DEARLY . HE WAS SO EASY TO BE WITH.

MY HEARTFELT SYMPATHY FOR HIS FAMILY

All -
My prayers and love go out to the entire Alterwitz family and hope you all find peace.

I only knew Barry unfortunely for a short time but he was a true and honest professional and person, he will be missed. M y prayers are with you his family.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
Although I did not meet Barry, anyone a part of the Prime family is family.

I lost my sister 5 years ago to cancer and it was a great loss for our family. I did not know Barry personally, even though we worked for the same company, but I certainly share your grief upon his passing after the same battle she endured. Please receive my condolences and be assured that I will keep Barry in my prayers.

I have so many memories of Barry. Seeing the movie The Sound of Music way too many times, family gatherings, his high school performances and days at Fairleigh. At least he is at peace now and free of pain. My love goes out to all of you!

Steve, Jennifer and Family. I am so sorry to hear of Barry's passing. I know he was the best little brother ever!! My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours at this time.
