Barry Baker

I, too, just learned of Barry's passing. So sad. Renee and I remember with appreciation his being our Cantor for High Holiday services at B'nai Israel Synagogue in Rochester, MN. May his memory be a blessing to his family.

I just came across the information of Barry's death. I worked with Barry (he was my boss) for many of the years he was in Austin, Minnesota. He was a really great guy. I learned alot from him... both professionally and personally. We worked well together. I wish I could have visited him in Michigan, but that was not to be. I wish Sherri and they're kids and extended family all the best. You have my deepest sympathy. Thank you Barry. I'll see you again sometime....

Barry was my boss and predecessor as General Manager at Delta Broadcasting, he was my mentor to Public Broadcasting . . . and he was also my friend.

I will miss our long discussions about the Golden-Age of television, about the ever-changing broadcast technology that somehow makes it all work, about the importance of Quality Public Broadcasting to our community, and about the absolute need to surround yourself with good people . . . with Barry - it was always about the people who make...

Our sincere sympathy goes out to Barry's family. During my numerous discussions with him concerning Delta Broadcasting, I think what impressed me most was his pride in his family, normally taking time to fill me in about what was happening with them and sharing our stories about our grandkids. He will be missed.

Barry Baker was passionate about public broadcasting and really took Delta Broadcasting to a new level. He will certainly be missed.

My sincere condolence to you and your family. I too have lost many dear loved ones in death. I found scriptures such as Psalms 86:17 to be of great comfort. Again, sincere condolences.
