Not sure what to say?

To The Barclay Family,

Please accept my heartfelt condolensces on the passing of Barry. I didn't know Barry very well at NAPC because I didn't start working at Trenton until Fall of 1989 and really didn't know much about what Barry did, but I always enjoyed his sometimes booming voice, and his penchant for "chop busting" for lack of a better term. Anyone associated with propulsion and NAPC Trenton who knew Barry will likely remember him well.

Dearest Barclays -

God bless and thank you all for a loving and beautiful memorial held today for a truly remarkable person. Barry embodied the fun and adventure that is life - he just made every occasion and every moment more special. And he would have enjoyed the tribute paid to him today. If I'd had the courage, I'd have shared a memory from one of the infamous canoe trips, when Barry announced that he was going to "navigate the treacherous left bank of Skinner's Falls alone...

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jerri, Steve, Chris, Holly and the entire Barclay family. The Barcster was one of a kind. Love you guys, The Moore's.

My earliest recollection of working with Barrie in Trenton was in the 1970s, when he would "beat out" the red light at the corner of Parkway Avenue and Scotch Road by making a quick right, traveling through the shopping center, then dashing out onto Parkway -- all in an attempt to save two minutes and NOT make the morning "late list" one more time. He and many others who were consistently late for work in their younger years eventually became leaders at the Navy organizations in Trenton and...

What a great influence Barry was to a fresh out-of-college engineer like myself. Showed me that it was OK to say things like "that's preposterous!" to the leaders of the US propulsion industry. Thank you Barry for your mentoring and friendship.

Sincere condolences to a Lawrenceville classmate and friend's family.

Barrie and I were friends, co-workers and at one point he was my supervisor. He was just about the best boss I ever had. A sincere person without pretense. He always tried to make the people under him happy. Barrie and I also were on quite a few business trips together. He was always great company. He had a great sense of humor and up-beat attitude. The pamphlet he wrote rating the restaurants in PAX river was hilarious and was also a useful treasure.I am sure you have a copy of it , but if...

Jerri.
I am so sorry to hear about Barry. He was a great guy. We had a lot of fun on the canoe trips many years ago and had some great arguements.
My heartfelt sympathies.

Barclay Family-
