Not sure what to say?

I find it hard to believe that five years have passed since Barrys death. He often comes to mind, sitting at the table with Lisa, discussing the merits of Thorlo socks, or watching the crowd at an art opening, with an occasional bemused smile breaking across his face. Barry was someone I didnt see all the time, but enjoyed each time I did. Hes much missed.

Lisa, I had no idea Barry had died. Just heard. I'm devastated at the news, so unexpected. I loved talking with him about art and nonart things...at your home and at arts events. If I heard Barry would be there I knew I'd have a good time with a kindred spirit. You and your daughters are in my thoughts and prayers now. I'll be in touch directly, soon.

I trained with Barry at GW in Diagnostic Radiology from 1972-1975. Always a friendly, knowledgable, easy going and dedicated physician, it was a privilege knowing him.

To the Brotman Family,
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Dr Brotman at Providence and at the Bowie office. He showed great compassion to me when my mother was diagnosed with an illness. His kindness will never be forgotten.

Dear Lisa,
I am very sad to hear of the tremendous loss of your dear Barry. I remember him as a warm and loving husband, Dad, and friend. He was so lovely with Lisa when she would visit. It's been many years but memories are strong. I wish you and your family comfort from all the bonds you have shared and created with eachother. I know the loss must be unimaginable.
Much love,
Dianne Modell

I met Barry when he joined the department as 'the new guy'. He was always a gentleman and we had many good laughs through the years. My prayers are for him and his family. May God bless them.

A voice from the past! I worked at PH in the sixties and was fortunate enough to know know him and be graciously helped MANY TIMES by him.

Dr. Brotman, there wasn't a single day in the MRA Bowie office that I didn't light up and go to work with a smile when I spotted your blue Mini in the parking lot. Thank you for your genuineness, superb expertise and wonderful sense of humor, and especially for making many of my workdays that much nicer.
