Still missing you friend!

Dear Mr.& Mrs. Cooper and Mr. Mantel,

What sad news on such a beautiful day. I knew Barry when he was a very young child. I worked for Mr. Mantel when I was a teenager and knew Bert and Barry from the Hiohela days. Barry was such a joy!! He and I would play, swim and hang out when I had time off from work. I would often take him places with me and I would babysit for Bert and Mr. Mantel on many occasions. Michael and Barry grew up together in Lawrenceville and were the best of friends. We are very saddened by this news and our deepest sympathy goes out to his family. We are sorry we cannot attend the funeral due to prior committments.

Though I did not know him, and despite our many years of not seeing each other, I feel your pain nonetheless.
