Not sure what to say?

I just found out and I am so sad. We were such good friends and I always expected to see him again. We worked together at KLCX and KLSR, but our friendship was much deeper than radio. My time with Barry was magical. My condolences to Dorothy and Adam especially. How he loved you so! I am in tears as I write this. Blessings! Peace, love, and rock and roll.

To Dorothy, Adam and family: I am overwhelmed with sadness on the loss of the Bear. I have fond memories and will hold them close to my heart. My heart will be holding you both close as well. We lost a giant of a man. Love to you both and the rest of the family members who will miss Barry. All my love,

Oh, how I will miss you, dear friend. You cared more about the music than the microphone. Thank you for bringing me to Eugene, and for bringing me into your wonderful family. Dorothy, you are the amazing woman who made him a better man, and my heart is with you, Jenny, Adam, Janelle and Liam.

I lived around the corner from Bear's Espresso To Go and stopped for a great Mocha almost every day! And thanks Bear for the great music recommendations-I still listen to Big Head Todd and the Monsters and always think of you! My heartfelt thoughts go out to Barry's family. Lisa

To have worked with Bear was a joy. A wonderful guy, a talented Program Director and that amazing voice of his! He taught me much and I'll keep some great memories of good times at KRXX, among others.

I'm so sad to hear of Barry's passing. He was one of the most influential people in my broadcasting career. He was a real mentor and a true friend. I feel very fortunate to have known Bear.

Wow. I'm in shock. Barry was one of the best in the biz.
A consumate professional. I always loved sharing radio stories with him. I'm sure he's sharing some laughs right now with Tom O'Hare and Tom Donahue.

To Dorothy & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My heartfelt positive thoughts are with you. You will find peace in your love for each other.

With love from Dorothy's friend at emergence.

I'm sad I will not be able to attend the memorial being so far away, but know my thoughts are with the family and have been for the last couple of weeks. Barry was a great guy, extremely passionate about everything he did and compassionate to so many people he crossed paths with. Paula
