Barry Cowsill

Sua fama chegou longe! Na década de 60 eu era uma garota adolescente cheia de sonhos. Hoje sou uma velhinha cheia de boas lembraças. E uma destas lembranças e a música maezvilhosa que está linda família produziu. Barry hoje está cantando com os anjos. Que Deus abençoe a todos.

Flipping through a Newsweek in Febuary, I came across an obituary for Billy Cowsill. This also mentioned Barry's passing...A double shock for me. As a former Rhode Islander, I remember The Cowsills. My heart goes out to Barry's entire family, friends and anyone else touched by his music.

I'm Johanna Szabo-Blenkhorn from Waltham Mass. I've seen this great family many, many times. I remember the whole family at the Hat Shell in Boston to Cape Cod to the Big E in Springfiled. This family I think about all the time. Barry is greately missed along with mom. Your family was greatly loved in the Massachusetts. I have pictures that you would not beleive. I love you all very much and I am sorry for all your loses.

I wanted to give my condolences to Barry and Billy's family and friends. I was (in the 1960s)and still am a Cowsill fan. I have recently rediscovered the Cowsills music. Barry will by missed. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends.

My prays go out to the hole Cowsill family, but exceptly his children. I know the lost of a parent is hard. I was a Cowsill fan back in the 60's I even wrote to Barry (my favorite one) He wrote back, which is unusually for any star. Unfortunity over the years I have lost the letter. God Bless you all

Nothing anyone can say or write will ease the loss of such a wonderful, beautiful and loving man. We take comfort and seek our strength in knowing that we loved him unconditionally and he loved us back, without judgement. To his family, I want to express my deepest condolences and share my belief that he is still with us in spirit and he's full of joy and at peace....heck, he has his brother Billy w/ him and they are still a'rockin'!!!!

I worked with Debbie at WLTS in New Orleans and it was through her that I met Barry. I wasn't around him much but he was always very nice and friendly to me. Debbie was a joy to work with and I often think of her. I'm truly saddened by Barry's loss and will continue to keep Dabbie and their family in my thoughts and prayers. God Belss.

As do countless others, I too feel the loss of this beautiful soul. His legacy, besides his children and grandchildren, are the many people he has touched through his music.

What a loss for the world, but most especially Barry's family. I have fond memories of the Cowsills music and thank God the world has that to remember his talents by. The hurricane has caused so many losses. Let's not forget the people still in need. I know people will never forget Barry and his music.
