Barry was a terrific guy. We never saw him without a big smile on his face. A definite pleasure to have him around and we will always cherish those moments.

We feel blessed to have known Barry, even if only for a short time. He had such a welcoming smile and always a funny story to tell. He may not have made it to his retirement spot in Hawaii but we have a feeling he is now enjoying an even better paradise. Thanks for the memories, Barry.

It saddens me that Barry has gone on, I had known him for several years and considered him a brother.
His sense of humor, even through all his medical trials and tribulations, was a ray of sunshine in my life!
My wife and I feel blessed for having known him.

I was Barry's younger cousin. I remember him at family events and when he moved learned about him and his travels from his Dad. Everyone was very proud of Barry and his accomplishments. I am sure he will be missed by all his friends.

Everybody loved Barry! His quick grin, mischievous twinkle in his eye, and "Bar-like" hug were irresistible. I'll miss him. He was a true friend

I was a neighbor of Barry's in Newport Beach that grew into a very memorable friendship. We shared so many wonderful times together. Ballgames, pool outings, boxing matches, many meals etc. Barry was always there to help out when ever needed and I tried to return the favors to the best of my ability. A true friend is always there day or night and that was my Barry! He will be missed deeply!! I shall never forget the memories we shared and dear Barry you will live on in my heart...

I was Barry's roommate at Ferris back in the early 60s. One thing about Barry was that if good times were being had he was right in the middle of it all. I know he is up there with the coach now.

Barry was my friend. We met in High School playing football. Together we ran the length of the football field at full speed to score a touch-down against Kinde in a J.V. game. No one was within 50 yards of us, we were running against each other. From that point on the friendship and good time began.
Whenever things got dull, the standard line was "Where is Barry" or "lets get Barry". He was a walking dynamo. The best self-starter I have ever known.
