Barry Moore Gillespie

I am so sorry to hear this. Barry Moore and my mama (Diane) were cousins. My mama passed away in 2016 and stayed in touch with him until her death. I go to the cemetery in Oakland every year, just as your daddy, aunt Nancy and mama did for soooo many years to make sure that there were red poinsettias on the Moore plots. I kept in touch with him after mama passing and loved to hear the stories he told. I am heartbroken and pray for your family and that somehow you will get this message.

Barry and Francis were great friends to Dorothy and Winston, Sr. at Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis. Dorothy still watches the home video of the wedding spoof the "Young at Heart" group performed. Barry was the preacher and carried the "Book of Life". Barry has been so faithful to call Dorothy after they moved up here to East Tennessee to live with us. He was always a ray of sunshine.
