Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear the news about Barry. I was a friend in high school and have great memories.

To the Graves Family,
My deepest sympathy to your family in this tragic loss. Barry and I were in youth group together at FBC of PG. Then later on your son, John and my son, Steven Carlton were in the same class at North Highland. Please know that our prayers are with your family.

Lisa, thank you for sharing Barry with us. He was a teacher, mentor and friend. A man who laughed and teased often, but always had time to listen and give us a hug to remind us that God loved us. You and your family will always be our Sunday School family. We are here for you. May God lift our hearts and remind us of the joy that his life brought to us all. We love you.

To the Family of Mr. Graves, He was an outstanding man who I always looked forward to seeing at Pelham's ballpark. Always had a smile and sweet words each time we saw him. My son, Brandon Barry, actually played baseball with Chad, so it was great to see him during the practices and games. He also gave me a baseball shirt that said "Barry" on the back that he had from a previous team. I actually still have it. My son lost his father on 4/24/09 who was 44 years old and then I read this. ...

To the family of Barry Graves,we are so sorry for your loss.May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand and grant you peace in your time of need.
You are in our prayers.

Lisa and family,
I was so sad to hear of Barry's passing. I remember ya'll so well from FBC in Troy. Barry made a lasting impression on me as a teenager and young adult. 20+ years later that memory is still very strong. He was such a funny, caring, fine Christian man. I remember he was so good with the youth! My hearfelt sympathies for you and your family. You are in my prayers.

Dear Lisa,
Barry and I were APO Brothers at Samford. His laugh and sense of humor helped us all get through college life. That part of him will always be with me and you as well. May God grant you His peace as you walk "through" the valley of the shadow of death.

To Barry's family:
I was a fraternity brother of Barry's at Samford.
I have fond memories of him. I remember his good sense of humor, how he enjoyed laughing, and how he enjoyed being a "cut up." He brought smiles to friends and the people around him.
Your grief is shared.

Dear Lisa,John and Chad,

Ames and I were deeply saddened to learn of Barry's passing. Our family was helped tremendously by the love and caring that he showed for us over the years. I particularly remember his willingness to give up his Saturday mornings after the death of my parents, just to guide me through a very, very tough time.To us there was greatness in him. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
