Mr Hackenberg will be greatly missed by the Blue Mountain students. Many of the students described him as being an "awesome" teacher. We extend our sympathies to his family.

I was deeply saddened after hearing of the passing of Mr. Hackenberg. He was a great Teacher, Coach, Friend, and Mentor! I was lucky to have him as my homeroom teacher throughout my high school years. He was a very wise man with a lot of heart. My condolences to the family.
