I started working for Barry in 1967 and he was so easy going and such a good mentor that work was a real pleasure. Here we are 58 years later and I´ve just retired from running my own business since 1992 - now owned and run by my son Daniel- I´ve no doubt I have a lot to thank Barry for. One recollection is Barry handing me the Auctioneer´s clipboard shortly after starting a furniture auction and telling me to get on with it. I was terrified but sold 30 lots before Barry took over again....
