My family also lived in the Evansdale neighborhood, just a few houses from the Hudgin's. There were many kids of all ages. Barry was couple of years older than my son Denny, but all hung around together. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I greatly enjoyed doing legal work with Barry on many Mercy projects, including the system's expansion into Perrysburg. He was a bright man and a pleasure to know.

I worked in the home office of Sylvania Franciscan Health with Barry during the last years of that organization before it became part of Catholic Health Initiatives. Barry was always a gentleman and a lot of fun. I am grateful for his kindnesses to me personally and for his service to the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio, as he worked in our former healthcare system. Rest in the fullness of God's love, Barry.
