Not sure what to say?

Ty I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Barry he was a good friend to me while I was in the service and I will always remenber the good times we all had at the Bowling Alley. My deepest condolonces and we will pray for him Sunday at church.

I am sorry to hear about Barry. He was my swim coach and baseball coach both at Rutherford Heights. He taught me alot and I have many memories of Barry. He taught me this following saying: trees, trees, trees, saying, been, bum, this has, long, how, trees, trees, trees. Read this saying forward three times then backwards one time. Barry was a good man. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was so sorry to hear about Barry. My memories of him are from the mid-90's when Tobi was one of my age group swimmers at HAC. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories as you celebrate a life well lived. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My condolences to his family.

Deepest sympathies to Barry's family. Barry was my first swim coach at Devon Manor and I have many great memories of him. He knew how to keep things fun and at the same time he also knew how to get the best out of us. He will be missed!

Coach Barry Koons was an excellent swim coach for me and so many youths. He was my swim coach when I was too young to join but allowed me to hold the side of the pool to make the 25 yard swim. At Devon Manor swim club, we won several championships under his control. In the winter months, because of his success, he was able to form a swim team at the JCC. Just like the summer teams, we won many championships. Barry was a true coach of coaches. He saw the potential of all swimmers and...

Barry was such a great person. I reeber him coaching the Rutherford swim team with my mom Edith Rutherford. The two of them made a great coaching team. I remember Barry wearing his goofy hat and his dark tan. My thoughts are with his family.
