Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences go out to Barry's family and friends. I hold dear memories of my friendship with Barry during the last two years of high school and during college. We shared with "our group"
laughter, good music and thought provoking discussions and games.

Mace,

You would not remember me, but I wanted to express my condolences upon hearing of your son's death. Nothing can be harder for a parent to bear. Our children are supposed to live after us. There's nothing anyone can say to ease your pain, really.

We were associated back in the 60s, the civil rights era, when you had your business on French Street and I was chair of the city-wide clergy group for social justice. Since then you have had several reverses, I know. From...

Janel and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear about Barry. I can't stop thinking of you and can't find the words to express my feelings. I have such fond memories of our times together.

Dear Mace, Clare, Joel, Artie, Adam and Janel,

How sad I was to hear of Barry's death. I have lots of fond memories of my teenage years spent working at Mace Electronics (my first job - I still have a copy of my first paycheck!) and Barry is a big part of those memories. His quiet, dry sense of humor went a long way to help make those hours behind the cash register go faster. From the other memories listed here I can tell that Barry's wonderful personality remained the same...

Dear Janel,

Our hearts go out to you and your family during this difficult time. We hope that one day the sadness will be replaced with all of the fond memories of Barry.

Janel,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
