Dr. Levine was my PCP for years. I always admired his compassion, thoroughness, and diagnostic skills. I was remarking to my wife the other day that we randomly encountered him at Logan Airport one day, and, even more randomly, he came to the market research firm where I worked as a CFO to participate in a survey. I was a primary care doctor in Chelsea until 2007. Barry was my go-to pulmonary consultant for many years. He was a fine gentleman and good doctor. I enjoyed interacting with him by phone for my patients. He was a mentch.

My sincere condolences to Dr. Levine's family. Although I did not know him reading his obit brought back many fine memories as I too worked as the summer doctor on North Haven for two short stints in the early 2000's. Sounds like he was a wonderful gentleman. All my best. Charlie Tracy
