BARRY LIGHT

I'm the roommate Barry shared a wonderful almost round room with at McKelvy, a scholars program at Lafayette. Barry was smart enough to not be grade driven as so many of us were, The night before an exam he travelled to NYC, never giving the slightest thought for a final review before an exam. If he had an hour or so before going to sleep, he read a novel. He wanted to play a brass horn in a marching band, and so he did. There he was in the school football band. I was saddened to read of Barry's passing. My husband and I were friends and neighbors with his family for many years, and our children grew up together. We followed his progress and contributions to our city with great pride. My condolences to his siblings Eric and Anita. Mabel Tannenbaum

Barry's mother and I were the best of friends. We took turns baby sitting for our children. My 2 children and Barry and his 2 siblings were brought up together and his parents were very proud of all his accomplishments. I have very fond memories of him and his personality. I loved him dearly.

Barry and I were roommates at Lafayette. My family and Barry shared so many good times together. We lost touch perhaps 8 years ago, and very recently I planned on calling him. I would be very grateful if I could speak to a family member or friend.
