I only knew Barry as a high school buddy (Vincentian, class of 1964), but he was unforgettable. He had a great sense of humor and a gift of friendliness. His obit described him as a "lifelong learner," a trait I greatly admire and have tried to follow myself. I believe that VI instilled that kind of cultured aspiration. I'm thankful for the school and my classmates. My condolences to Barry's family.
