Not sure what to say?

Dear Colleen and family, I was so very sad to hear of Barry's passing. I got to know him when I worked for Dr. Donald Schinstine for 19 years, but hadn't seen him recently due to Covid. He always asked about my brother Tony, whom he worked with at the Express. Such a kind and gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May your beautiful memories sustain you. RIP Barry......

Sorry to hear about Barry's passing. Worked with him briefly at the Daily Record in 1979, then at the Express-Times from 2010-13. A real good man, friend and boss.

Barry was a good man and may his family find strength at this trying time.May he RIP. .

As the long time, former basketball coach at Phillipsburg High School and currently the athletic director at PHS, I fondly remember the many, many interviews and discussions with Barry. Of all the many reporters I´ve dealt with through the years, Barry was one that I most respected. He was objective and fair and a great writer. I always had the upmost respect for Barry and it is with a heavy heart that I heard the news of his passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to his entire family. God...

Miller Family: I worked with and for Barry as a free lance writer for the Express-Times for two decades in Easton before he went to New Jersey. Barry was smart, knowledgeable, and responsible. His soft sense of humor was great. He was a man with knowledge and wisdom about many topics. Above all, Barry was a good person who truly cared about his family, co-workers, and people. May his family find comfort in this time of loss. Barry was a special guy who made the world a better place.

My Condolences, my older brother Billy went to school with Barry in Roselle. His family live right around the corner from us on Poplar St. Lots of good times playing basketball in the lot near his home. I remember Barry had BAM written on his basketball. So sorry for you loss , RIP Barry

Colleen & Sons, So sorry to hear of your loss.

To the Miller family, I was sad to hear of the passing of Barry. I knew Barry a long time from Forks Township as we were both a coaches and involved in the recreation programs there. Haven´t seen Barry in a while since he left the area because the paper moved but will always remember what a good guy he was. We would talk a lot about sports of course but also about our township and our programs. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Barry!

Colleen, Ryan, Cory and David, My condolences on the passing of Barry. He did a great job covering High School Athletics as a writer and later as an editor. It was always great to catch up with Barry and reminisce on the days I coached Ryan at Easton Area High School in basketball, the Easton Varsity Baseball Program and our families. Barry was a good person who truly cared about the Student Athlete. May he rest in peace.
