Barry was a wonderful and kind man. I met and had the priviledge to work with him at the Gretna PD many years ago. I went in the service and we lost touch. Just by chance we ran into each other, after all these years, and talked of old times, being cops. He had a smile that was magical. My heart and sympathy go to his wife and family.
