Not sure what to say?

I was just looking at my 65 commerce HS year book and remembering one of my best friends Barry - Beege as I called him. We were in the band together. When I had my 2nd child he was one of the nurses in the hospital. So many wonderful amazing memories of our 3 years in school. I just learned of his passing and I´m heart broken. My husband was in the soldiers home as well but lost him in 2019 to agent orange issues. God bless your family with beautiful memories.

As I have reflected on Barry, a word that keeps coming up for me is connection. He would listen with full focus, love and calm and no judgement. His words were always kind, his interest genuine and without judgement, his warmth and gentle spirit apparent to anyone who had a chance to have a passing conversation with him (and I took the chance whenever I could). When I left home for the Marines, his words of comfort, advice, thoughts on life and his own service to the country,...

Dear Family, Although we haven't seen each other in many years, I remember the good times we shared playing together in our high school band. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
