I was very lucky to have Barry as my drum teacher back when I first started playing. I remember how blown away I was when I first heard him lay down the basic rudiments on his practice pad. Although it's been years since I've played on a regular basis, I'm proud to say I still have the same book of rudiments from the days he taught me. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
