Not sure what to say?

Mr Owen taught us that when someone walks up to speak shut up! When hit those stairs the noise level went zero. I didn´t realize that most adults didn´t understand that concept until I got older rest in peace Mr. Owen rest in peace.

Coach Owens you once said, that people asked you why you wanted to be at a school like Humes. You and Coach Williams could have coached any where. I can´t speak for anyone else but I´m thankful you did . I would not be where I AM today if not for your guidance and your simple love of us. This is a picture of your 1969 City Championship team . We were a special group of lost and confused kids that you wield into Champions. You outlived many of them. Only a few of us are left to tell the story....

Mr. Owen protected us as if we were his own children. We have productive environment for learning and development

I remember Mr. Owens putting people out of a pep rally that didn't belong to Central. He said "I don't care how many children go here, I know each and every one of them and you don't belong here." Central class of 92. I salute you.

Mr. Owens was an amazing principal at The Central High School. The Class of 1990 will truly miss him.

Mr. Owens was a great inspiration and mentor. I was fortunate and blessed to call him "Principal"! My sincerest sympathies to his family. Rest in peace. Central Warriors - Class of 1985
