Not sure what to say?

Barry was a class ahead of me at the maritime academy but I remember him as a mild mannered quiet gentleman.
His manner and disposition commanded respect of all underclassmen.
Fair winds and a following sea from your CMA brothers!

Barry will be dearly missed by all of us on the Waterfront. He was a good friend and teacher as well as a practicle joker. I can still see his face when I took over the duties of supplying the beer for our annual Port Engineer picnic and he sent me to get ice for the kegs, they put so much ice in his truck I thought that I would never make it back to his shop without a mechanical breakdown, his laughter will remain with me forever. Barry, we will miss you!

Barry has served in many capacities in the Scociety of Port Engineers of Puget Sound, and in all instances will be remembered as a 'spark plug' for any actvity he was involved in. We will miss him very much - particularly at our picnic this year. This will be the first year in many that members will not have a hot dog, brew, or ice cream treat served up by Barry with his great grin. Blessing to his family.

Barry was an excellent salesman I worked for him at Paulsen & Associates from for several years when I was around 18 years old. He taught me a great deal about being a man. He will be missed by many I'm sure.

Barry was an esteemed member and past President of the Society of Port Engineers of Puget Sound. In recognition of his exemplary service, he was awarded the Man of the Year in 1996. He was a consumate gentleman and his professional manner was highly respected throughout the waterfront. I will miss his beaming & broad smile (sly grin!) and his sense of humor.
