Dr. Proud was my eye Doctor for many years in Wadsworth and Canton! My sympathies to the Family!!

Some people only worry about getting the best life has to give.
But a few people- special people like you-thought it was more important to give life your best. Some people wait around hoping good things will come to them; You worked hard to make good things happen. Some people might be afraid of new experiences, of taking risks, but you never let that stop you. Moment by moment, day by day, you became the person you wanted to be...
You are someone I admire, someone I love and...

Dr. Proud was my eye doctor when I was 5. I will always remember him.
Sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

Barry will be missed-- he always had a smile and was very interested in his patients. He was a pleasure to know and will be missed by those who knew him.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
