Not sure what to say?

My wife passed me down her car when she got a new one. She had a Time-Life Cd in the glove box. I slipped into the cd player and was listening to Al Wilsons "Show and Tell" It took a while but I realized I bought it from Barry. How about this "Where Were You In 62?" Barry knew more about surf-rock than just about anyone. Barry was there when Dick Dale started the whole scene. I was with Barry when we saw Dick Dale in Seattle. Dick Dale knew Barry after many years had passed. Barry...

Knew Barry from Chapman College,we would laugh, always had great sense of humour, loved talking to everyone. loved life.rest in peace Barry.. Charles Saxe Ottawa Canada

Such fond memories at Chapman. He was the smoothest dancer. Reminiscing about old friends and learned that he had passed. Our deepest condolences.

God bless Barry. I remember his shop in Westchester Ca for many years growing up. Was always fun to stop and see him. Great shop!

You were one of my first bosses and you taught me alot. A very unique and individual. Take care my friend.

The staff of American Cancer Fund® at www.AmericanCancerFund.org is sorry to hear of Barry's passing. We have received a memorial donation in his name and our sincere condolences go out to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a customer of Barry's for many years and always enjoyed his recommendations and music discussion. I hadn't seen him in a while and was pleasantly surprised when I started playing poker next to him a couple of years ago. He probably went too easy on me at times but I probably went too easy on him every once in a while too. I have enjoyed playing next to him and will miss him at the poker table.

I only knew Barry from my being a customer at Soundsations in Issaquah. Soundsations was a great store! I always remember him as being the nicest man, always friendly, always saying hello, even as he had some medical issues. God bless him and his family.

I didn't know Barry well, but I always enjoyed chatting with him at the poker table. When we had adjacent seats, I would help him stack his chips -- many times after he had taken them from me!

I hadn't known he was sick until someone mentioned it in the poker room recently. I'm very sorry for your loss. I'll always remember playing cards with my "poker friend" Barry.
